"Kathy Cano Murillo strikes us as one of those people who, stranded on a desert island with nothing but a volleyball, a deck of playing cards and some coconuts, would not only craft a rescue vehicle and distress signal but whip up a spiffy castaway-themed wardrobe to wear as she did so. And she would be having a great time. And so would you. Visit the Arizona Republic contributor's site to get the craft fever yourself."

I'm now a full-time senior product designer for Duncan Enterprises. I
know you know them! They make Aleene's Tacky Glue and Tulip Fashion Paint. Now they are going to manufacture the Crafty Chica product line. I've been hard at work with them creating a huge array of products that will be released spring 2008.

Even though I no longer work for The Arizona Republic, my editors were kind enough to let me continue to write my syndicated craft column. That means you can still read it in your local Gannett paper every week!

We had so much fun with the last Crafty Chica cruise, we are doing it again! Click here for details.

Art Unraveled 2008! Yes, I will be teaching at this awesome event next year, stay tuned for details.

I'm now a part of the Lifetime TV family! They signed me on to host a
webisode series based on this web site. Watch an episode now!

I just wrapped my next craft book. It's all about kamikaze sewing and is being published by Potter Craft/Random House. It will be published Spring 2009.

I also have two novels coming out! The first, "Love Shine", is being released by Grand Central Publishing in summer 2009.
