USA Today; more writing

I’m sorry I’m always posting stuff like – “look at this…we did that…”, etc. But this season has been so great, so many cool things going on. The latest event that is making my face hurt from smiling so much is that I found out today that my site, CraftyChica.com was featured in USA Today last Monday, the 15th!

Here’s the blurb:

Crafty Chica
Kathy Cano Murillo strikes us as one of those people who, stranded on a desert island with nothing but a volleyball, a deck of playing cards and some coconuts, would not only craft a rescue vehicle and distress signal but whip up a spiffy castaway-themed wardrobe to wear as she did so. And she would be having a great time. And so would you. Visit the Arizona Republic contributor’s site to get the craft fever yourself. — HSS

I’m also happy to report that I’m 25,000 words into my novel. Only 25,000 more to go by the 30th – In between filling orders, a day job and family. Oh, I hope I can do it! It’s coming along so fun. I would post an except, but I’m shy.

Love & light,
