Can I just say that going in to revamp a completed 90,000 word manuscript is like scraping the frosting off the top of a cake and hoping you don’t accidentally rip out a huge chunk and ruin the whole thing? You know like when all the little crumbles get smeared all over the place and there is no way to repair the cake without the it coming out looking like you repaired it? And knowing that people will probably notice it and laugh at it? And wonder why you ever went into cake decorating in the first place?
Eeek! I’ll stop. OK, off to scrape off that frosting! Wish me luck!
