ear Friends~

PLEASE, PLEASE join us for a rare opportunity to see two amazing New Orlean’s street musicians perform and help our American Roots Musicians who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina. This is going to be FABULOUS. There will only be a $10 donation at the door to get in. They will only be playing between 6 and 8 pm, this Friday (happy hour) at the Rhythm Room. It promises to be a unique and wonderful musical experience. I really hope to see you and everyone you can bring at the show!!

Dear, dear friends of ours, David & Roselyn Lionheart will be coming through Phoenix Thursday March 2nd. They are playing a benefit performance at the Rhythm Room Friday March 3rd from 6-8pm. (Thank you Bob Corritore!!!!!!)

They lost their home (upper 9th ward) in Katrina and have been traveling from town to town performing at schools, churches, venues and private homes to raise money for the Louisiana Evacuee Restoration Tour. The charities to which they are contributing to on a daily basis are, The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic Emergency Fund:, and which sponsors the computer access office for musicians in New Orleans as well as a great place to perform. (People can, of course, make contributions to these groups directly. David & Roselyn Lionheart picked them because we know they have a history of working with and helping musicians (including us) in New Orleans and Louisiana for years and are not dubious charities. They are all working to help evacuee musicians from New Orleans and southern Louisiana who can no longer make a living in the streets, clubs, juke joints, conventions and parties at home.)
