I’m here at the Fresno airport waiting for my flight home. I remember
slipping a new book in my carry-on, so I bypassed the magazine rack,
but did pick up a bag of M&Ms. I just finished reading a novel last
week and forgot what book I brought with me for this trip. So I popped
a candy-coated peanut in my mouth, unzipped the side pocket of my bag,
and found this book!

Perfect timing! I’m only three pages in and I LOVE it! It’s about a
group of English women who have a secret chocolate club. Considering I
have been kicked out of a chocolate club once for accidentally eating
all the group’s chocolate, I think this page-turner is quite fitting!

UPDATE: I finished this book and really enjoyed it. It felt like a madcap comedy from the 60s, yet it had some deep issues going on with the women in the story. I loved the tight friendships and clever plot devices. If you love chocolate and friendship stories, you’ll enjoy this reader.
Love & light,
