Crafty Chica’s Guide to Artful Sewing: Fabu-low-sew Ideas for the Everyday Crafter“.

Just this morning I emailed my book editor asking for a proof of the cover of my new book. I hadn’t seen it yet. I went out shopping with the fams, came home, and found the new Potter Craft spring catalog in my mailbox. I opened the page to find Martha Stewart’s new book.

I turned the page and went – “Oh wow, what is this? This book looks really cool!’

It was my book!!! So I did the happy dance all over the kitchen. I love that this design is totally different from my Art de la Soul book. I totally heart that book, but it is always fun to go in a different direction. This book is themed around a bright and cheery oilcloth design and has HUGE pictures of all the projects!

It comes out Feb 17, 2009. And it is even up for pre-orders on Amazon!

  1. Ohhhh! Why do we have to wait so long?? Not that I know how to sew, but I just love looking at your stuff. It is always so beautiful and cool. Maybe some projects are easy enough for non-sewers? If anything, maybe I can ask my mom, 🙂 who has been an expert seamstress all her life.
I’ll be waiting to get that book as well as your novel, as well as…girl, you are too much! May your glitter rub off on me!
