I’ll have a better picture of this soon, BUT we had some extra space in the gallery and I decided to turn it into a glitter gallery dedicated to Ellen DeGeneres!
As you may or may not know – in January, Ellen told her fans on her show that she disliked glitter and wished congress would ban it in the U.S.! I LOVe Ellen bvut was bummed that she wanted to wipe out ALL glitter based on ONE type (she doesn’t like loose glitter).
So with the help of Duncan Enterprises and glitter lovers everywhere, I started the “Safe Sparkle Glitter Campaign” – this is to show people that there are lots of different types of glitter, many of which are not loose and flaky!
I wrote Ellen a letter, staged a rally in front of NBC studios where she tapes her talk show, and made a video plea too.
Now I’ve made glitter gallery inside the Heard Museum that displays the portraits I made of her that show the different “safe sparkle” glitter application techniques.
I hope Ellen gets word of this and comes to see her display!!!
Love & light,
