4th Annual Crafty Chica Cruise: Day Five (Part 1)

The craftermath!

This last day was CRAZY! We all woke up early and headed to the art room. We spent the day creating our mixed media art badges and embellishing ceramic sacred hearts, hand cast for us by indie artist, Cesco. You can find his work on Etsy! Special thanks to Annette Armas from CJ’s Angels for facilitating it. She and her husband drove the precious cargo from Cesco’s studio in Los Angeles to our hotel in San Diego so we could have these special hearts.

We used gobs of Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue® , Crafty Chica® Little Chica Paint Packs™, Crafty Chica® Glossy Gloss Varnish™ and Crafty Chica® Chunky Glitters™ to decorate them, as well our Tim Holtz Grunge Books (Thank you, Tim and Ranger!)

Grungebook in progress!
Ok, this class was one of the earlier nights in the week, but I just remembered it now. Patrick taught the cruisers how to make shadow boxes using recycled shims.

At the beginning of the week, we all exchanged names and then made a secret gift for our person. Everyone put a lot of thought and care into it!
Down from 32 pieces of luggage to this. Time to go home!

Peace, love, and glitter!
Kathy 🙂

P.S. Check out my new novel and Crafty Chica product line!

Love & light,
