TONIGHT: If you live in the Phoenix area, tonight the local chapter of the Las Comadres National Latina Book Club is having a book discussion on my novel! I’ll be there with free glitter for everyone who visits. Come stop by!
We will be talking about contemporary crafts in women’s fiction. I’ll be sharing my favorite list of “crafty lit” books/authors and how the hobbies/handwork relates of their characters relate to the story and overall theme of the book. From knitting to crochet to scrapbooking, quilting, soapmaking, painting, embroidery and more – there are many titles that embrace crafts as part of a character’s daily lifestyle.
