I’ll be catching up on emails this week, and Patrick has mailed out orders and prizes! Thanks for being so patient!

On a side note – I’m headed to Fresno this week for five glorious days at iLoveToCreate headquarters! While I’m there I plan to walk on the treadmill at the hotel gym. I’m determined to start exercising. Working on crafts and writings books is great for the soul, but does nothing for the body! This is going to be tough for me because I HATE to exercise, but it is my last recourse to get on a healthy track. I’m so tired of feeling like I’m wearing layers of wet coats, it is exhausting! I’m ready to lighten up if only my willpower will kick in. We’ll see how it goes!

Wish me luck! Let me know if you have any tips! Any favorite web sites? any great starter exercise programs for PLUS size chicas?

Peace, love, and glitter!
Kathy 🙂

P.S. Check out my new novel!

  1. Haven’t been able to do much since I hurt my back. But just walk everywhere you can. Not fast, slow and steady wins the prize here. Park out a little further and walk in. If you can do stairs, start with some and increase ( I can’t do stairs ).
Wear those little stretchy sandbag weights on your ankles when you head out. I do those and when I take them off, I feel so light!

  2. I know the feeling! (Plus sized crafting chica here too!) Walking was feeling really hard on my back and I didn’t want to do it! So I joined a group of seniors at my local pool for their “Happytimers” aquasize class three mornings a week. They’re so friendly and sweet and they don’t kick me out for being underage haha. Another day, we have deep water aerobics and it’s felt so good I do that during Happytimers as well, now up to 4 days a week when I can swing it. Kathy I’ve lost 15 lbs already and it feels more like “playing at the pool” than “working out.” I highly recommend braving a swimsuit (I know, I know!) for this alternative to “exercise.”
