The final copies arrived to my editor last week and she sent me two copies hot off the press! My heart is racing, I can’t believe it is already coming out. Tears of joy streaming down my face as I type this.
I dedicated this book to my dad. He was so excited about my novels, and often asked about my plot structures and characters. “You always have to have something unexpected.” he would tell me. He passed away before he was able to read them, but maybe there are libraries in heaven?
While the obvious theme of the story is sewing, the foundation is about family, siblings, daughters and parents. It’s also about appreciating our loved ones before it is too late. Even though there are rough patches and misunderstandings within our family structures – unconditional love ALWAYS prevails. Family is everlasting! That is the message I hope readers take from the story.
