There is a new holiday Disney movie called Frozen coming out this month and it revolves around all things cool and frosty. I have a soft spot because it is still 82 degrees here in Phoenix. Can we get some CHILLY instead of CHILE over here? Being the optimist I am, I thought it would be fun to share snowflake-inspired crafts to help manifest some lower temperatures. If you live in the Phoenix area, I have four pairs of VIP advance screening passes to give out for WEDNESDAY, NOV 20. The screening is at The Arizona Center AMC. Leave a comment sharing the current weather status in your neck of the woods and I’ll draw four names on Sunday night to win the tickets!
About the film: Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. “Frozen” is in theaters in 3D on November 27, 2013.

My neck of the woods is bringing 92 degree weather in November? What’s up with that?!? I truly love autumn and winters in Arizona. The breezy evenings and lovely days are beautiful!
My favorite thing to coat in glitter right now are clothespin snowflakes. I’ve made them with tiny clothespins too. Here’s where my inspiration came from: www(dot)bystephanielynn.com/2011/12/clothespin-snowflakes-handmade-ornament-no-25(dot)html
The high today is 82. It’s not chilly, cocoa weather, but the suns rays aren’t setting fire to things, so I call it a win! My 4 year old is praying for it to snow in our town-miracles can happen 🙂
At 9 in the morning it is a cool 62 degrees in Phoenix, AZ. I LOVE everything about Phoenix winters- no shoveling snow, wearing light layers, not having an outrageous heating bill, and much much more.
I forgot to mention I have three little girl’s and a sister movie would be perfect for them!
It’s a lovely 69 degrees~over here in the West Valley! The cotton is almost ready to harvest!
Today was wonderful! This is why we live in Arizona! Could be a tad cooler to get in the season but its coming. I have lived here my whole life and can’t complain. 2 hours from snow and yes its hot at times but it is home!
It is a starry night with a planet very close and shines so bright in the 63 degree night sky!
