You can never have too much love in the house – so why not add in a juicy glittered canvas? This is a bright and happy project that works great in a kid’s room, the family room or as a gift. I like to cut my own stencils, but if you want to make it easier, you can buy pre-cut letters or stencils at the craft store.
SUPPLIES:
Canvas
Craft or house paint, brush
Spray paint
Optional: Watercolor paper, craft knife, pencil.
Draw your word on a piece of watercolor paper.
Cut it out with a craft knife. This is your stencil! You can use it long after this project too, save it in a place where you can lay it flat.
Base coat your canvas. Let dry.
Set down the stencil and use the spray paint.
Peel away the stencil to reveal the design. Let dry.
Coat each letter with Tacky Glue, one by one, then add the glitter.
Work one letter at a time so the glue won’t dry before you can add the glitter. Paint the sides of you canvas, and let dry. It’s ready to hang!
we could do with lots and lots of this!!! great project I will show my husband Jim! He is the glitter go to guy in our family!
Great color in all the projects…inspiring.
