I know in other parts of the country there are snowstorms going on, but here in Arizona it’s full-on spring. I’m making the most of it before the sweaty summer temperature arrive. We’re in the process of creating a succulent garden on our porch and I wanted to add some glittery accents. These glittered butterfly plant pokes were the perfect thing!
SUPPLIES:
Collage Pauge or Aleene’s Decoupage Medium
Thin liner brush
Fabric butterflies on wire
Bamboo skewers, cut in half.
1. Coat the sectioned areas with the Collage Pauge or Aleene’s Decoupage.
2. Pour the Tulip glitter over the wet areas of glue and tap away the excess. Let dry.
3. Cut the skewer in half. Wrap the wire around it. Put it to good use!
Where can I find those beautiful butterflies?
I buy them at the craft store in the floral department! They come about 10 to a pack, then I glittered them.
