Stacked Fabric Embellishments

Sassy Summer Headband by CraftyChica.com.

What do you do with fabric scraps you can’t bear to toss? You cut them into circles, sew them together and make embellishments for headbands and rings! That’s what I did, here’s how…

First you want to cut circles in graduated sizes (I used pinking shears), use a little piece of felt between each one and stitch them together in a stack.

You’ll end up with something like this! Make sure to add a little something on top.

I made a bunch of them to use in different crafts!

Here’s what I used to make the headband – Aleene’s Fabric Fusion, a crochet flower, rhinestone trim, you get the idea!

What the heck, let’s add some feathers, then the rhinestone trim.

And you’re done. OK, if the headband is a little much, how about a simple ring?

The one thing I’ll do different next time is NOT use a dark marker to draw the circles, I should have used chalk. Live and learn!
