I’m on Scrapbook Soup today!

I’ve blogged about my fan girl moments with artist, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. Whoa, so imagine my surprise when she invited me to be a guest on Scrapbook Soup, a show she hosts fro PBS! I was so nervous to find the perfect project that I turned in four sketches, hoping she would find one to have me demo on the show. You guys – she accepted ALL of them! I’m usually not a big scrapbook person, so I really felt I had to come up with something in that genre, but still in my style. I sure hope I succeeded, because I had so much fun making these projects. I flew out to Colorado last May and spent the day filming on the colorful set. If you are into mixed media or paper arts, you really have to set your DVR to record this show every day. Julie is a brilliant artist, painter, and all around creative genius. She shares oodles of her personal tips and short cuts on each episode, you will get SCHOOLED, I tell you!

While I was there met so many other fun artists like Stacy Julian from BigPictureClasses.com and I got to see the adorable Joe Rotella from Create N Craft! Check out their sites too!

My first episode airs TODAY – here is a link where you can check our local listings!

If you can’t see it, no worries, here is the tutorial (and printable pattern) for my

Dia de los Muertos Window Book!
