Will Medina for CraftyChica.com
Holiday season is here! I hope you are enjoying it so far. With Thanksgiving on Thursday, it’s definitely time to unwind, and spend time with loved ones on this special day. And what’s Thanksgiving without a few great songs to set the mood?
2015 is definitely shaping up to be the year of women artists, and that inspired this “dreamy divas” playlist. I hope you’ll want to play it during all the turkey day festivities! This collection of sultry songstresses is a great way to impress your family and friends, I curated a nice variety for you to check out. Let me know which are some of your current favorites!
Here is my Thanksgiving Day Dreamy Divas Spotify playlist:
Lost and Found– Ellie Goulding
Used To Love You– Gwen Stefani
Hasta la Raíz– Natalia Lafourcade

I really hope you enjoy this Turkey Day playlist and decide to play a few songs for your family and friends. Plus, who wouldn’t be impressed by you discovering all this great new music? 😉
Did I tell you that all these artist’s albums make great holiday gifts? My mom usually puts a few CDs in my stocking each year and it’s definitely one of the highlights of opening gifts. Most of these artists are releasing or already released new albums recently and it’s just in time for the holiday season.
And for a bit of humor, check out this SNL skit themed around Adele!
I hope you have wonderful and amazing Thanksgiving spent with family and friends! See you next month 😉

NOTE FROM KATHY: Here is who is at the top of my playlist these days – Leon Bridges! This video is from a Tiny Desk performance for NPR. Here is his website. I’m obsessed, I tell you, obsessed! The first time I heard Leon’s music, I swear I thought some of Sam Cooke’s hidden tracks had been uncovered. No, this guy is young and new to the scene, and I bet we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in 2016. I sure hope so! Give this a listen and you’ll see what I mean!
