I made these Snow White earrings this week in honor of the Blu-ray DVD release of the film in 2016. I created a DIY tutorial on how to make Snow White shrinky dink earrings. Watch the tutorial below and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, I have a lot of fun projects lined up!
You can make these while you watch the movie!
SUPPLIES:
Shrinky Dinks sheet (I used frosted, and you can find SD at the craft store)
Permanent markers or colored pencils: I like the markers because they give a cool watercolor/inky effect.
Hole puncher
Earring hooks
Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
Do a Google image search on Snow White coloring pages. You’ll find a lot of designs to choose from, choose one and using a photo editing program, place on an 8-1/2 x 11″ image size. Place it so it fills about a quarter page because the image will shrink. Make another one and flip it and place it on the page as well. Print it out and tape it down to a smooth surface and place the Shrinky Dink plastic sheet on top, frosted side up. Use the marker to trace the lines, then fill in with color. Punch a hole at the top and cut around the shape. Place in a 325 degree preheated oven on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and stand and watch until the pieces melt and shrink. Carefully remove tray from oven wearing potholders, and let cool. Then add your earring hooks!
