sugar-skull-gel-mediumThis is nice technique to try if you are a newbie at mixed media art or just want to add dimension to your artwork. May makes it look so easy, I love how she walks us through the process. You’ll need gel medium, which comes in a variety of textures, colors and finishes.

For starters you can try basic matte, and then add color with paint and/or inks.
