Life can’t be all work and deadlines, you gotta have some party time. Some tang! That’s where this Creamy Chipotle Dip with lime chips comes in! It’s decadence with a kick, especially if you partner it with lime chips!
I was invited to give this recipe a try and give it a little spin of my own. You know what though, it is delicious as is – all I added were the lime chips! The key ingredient? Knorr® Caldo con sabor de Pollo (Chicken flavor). It comes in powder form inside the jar and you simply measure out however much you need. Knorr products are pretty awesome when it comes to adding a punch of flavor to your edible creations.
Visit your local Walmart to see the full display, and did you know that Knorr is hosting Dia de Los Muertos celebrations at Walmarts in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Antonio and Phoenix?
OK, let’s make this dip! Gather up all your ingredients!
2 tbsp. lime juice
4 tsp. Knorr® Chicken Flavor Bouillon
2 cups sour cream
1 ½ cups Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tbsp. chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Microwave-safe bowl
Tortilla corn chips
Fresh limes
Squeeze the lime juice in a bowl and add the Knorr® Chicken Flavor Bouillon in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high for 30 seconds (or until hot).
Next, combine the bouillon mixture with remaining ingredients.
Stir until it’s well mixed and extra creamy!
We served it in a special dip/salsa dish I made!
Put the chips in a large bowl and squeeze fresh lime all over the chips. Toss the chips a bit and add more lime. you want to make sure all the chips have some lime juice.
Serve your dip along with the lime chips! Sure, you can buy the lime chips already made, but fresh is soooo much better! And if you don’t want to do chips, you can serve with fresh veggies instead.
Here is a recipe card you can print out and save!
