Out of all the years of entertainment coverage I’ve participated in, I’ve never been to a red carpet Hollywood movie premiere. Until now! And the wait was worth it. Come Tuesday, I’m headed to Los Angeles for the official North American premiere of COCO (opens November 22)! It’s going to be a star-studded event with all the cast and crew. I’ll be there with two dozens other bloggers to take part in the fun, and then conduct interviews the next day.
One of the things I kind of panicked about was what to wear to a red carpet event. I’m not exactly the glittery stiletto type (just in my mind), you know. I did find a nice flowy red gown and I’m painting a jeans jacket to go with it.
I figure, I should embrace the experience and go full-throttle Kathy-style. I can’t wait to show you what I’m doing with it! I’m also making jewelry to go with it too!
While we’re there, we’ll be taking part in ABC press tours for Designated Survivor and Kevin (Probably) Saves the World.
The next day, we’re screening the upcoming TV movie, Big Hero 6: Baymax Returns (airs later this month). If you loved Big Hero 6, you’ll love the new series too because it picks up where the movie left off.
Then we’re headed to the Coco screening, which kicks off with an Olaf’s Frozen Adventure featurette!
It will be seen with Coco, but only for a limited run in theaters.
Thanks for reading!Love & light,
