Have you tried whipped coffee yet? You guys know how much I LOVE my cafecito! When I saw the whipped coffee tutorial aka “dalgona coffee” recipe, my mouth instantly watered and I knew I had to drop what I was doing to make it. And I did!
The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of warm water. You vigorously mix/beat/whip until it becomes smooth and creamy. The results are equal parts amazing and lovely.
TIP: To make your whipped coffee experience even better – score a milk frother!
You then place this heavenly, airy creation atop a glass of iced milk. You can mix it together and sip through a straw, or just sip as is.
However, I’m always about changing it up so I added a Latin food spin – I used Cafe Bustelo and instead of milk, I used horchata! Sooo good. If you’ve ever had a horchata latte, it’s like that but on steroids!
Use instant Cafe de Olla and top with cinnamon
Instead of milk or horchata, use chocolate milk!
Here is an updated version I made:
