This Buick Encore GX-Essence was our chariot to San Diego! Elexia of Artelexia invited me to have a pop-up and book signing at her shop and the awesome folks at Buick loaned me this shiny set of wheels for the journey!
I really loved this ride because it is a small SUV, but it held a LOT. As in – people and all my merchandise! I invited my son, DeAngelo, my daughter-in-law, Alexia and my handsome new grandson, Theo for the trip.
Patrick decided to stay home, so the four of us carried on, and I drove all the way up and back. The Buick Encore was equipped with many features that made the ride safe and smooth. Here is a picture from the Buick stie so you can see how roomy it is. This model starts at $25K and I suggest it for any creativeprenuer who needs a solid vehicle for traveling for pop-ups, events, and still feel like you are riding in style!
It seats up to five people, or you can flip down the seats and have 50 lbs of cargo space.
There is a center console for navigation, connecting your phone, and more.
My favorite feature was the speed limit display that showed what the speed limit was where you were driving and what speed you are going. It came in handy for this road trip!

It was cool to see friends old and new come by to say hi, like Eva smith. We would alway see each other at conferences pre-pandemic, but that felt so long ago. She came by with her family to visit!

Here is DeAngelo at our Air BnB, he is so handsome and smart, i’m so proud of him and all he has accomplished. Seeing him as a husband and dad made me tear up a couple times. He is so grown up now, but he still has that charming personality he has since childhood.
We have such a great time and i’m so grateful to Buick for making this happen.
And…the week before our trip, Buick loaned me the fancy Enclave Avenir!
This is a full-size luxury SUV that made me fully embrace my la jefa status for sure. Leather seats, fully loaded, two sun roofs – it had all things spectacular!
I used this vehicle around town to shop for my supplies for the San Diego trip!
