This is a workshop where you will enjoy two activities – making your own soul journal from watercolor paper, and then receiving prompts to write in it.
This insightful workshop blends creative expression with guided reflection.
Artist Kathy Cano-Murillo, aka The Crafty Chica, will lead you in crafting a 5″ x 7″ watercolor journal, creating a personalized space for your thoughts and healing. In the second half, Phoenix curandera and healer Patricia Federico Ruiz will guide a soul-filled session focused on reflection, intuition, and ancestry. Using her prompts, you’ll begin filling your new journal with meaningful entries. Whether you are an experienced artist or simply seeking a peaceful moment of self-awareness, this hands-on experience is designed to feed your spirit.
You will learn basic watercolor techniques, and then use them to fill your pages with the soulful prompts offered by Patricia.
