I’ve been a long time fan of the Los Angeles-based band, La Santa Cecilia. Their music is an explosion of different genres, but always grounded in Mexi-style grooves. Lead singer, La Marisoul, not only belts out everything from corridos to New Wave anthems to reimagined Beatles-tunes, she also is super crafty! She paints her own shoes, in which she dances her booty off in for every gig, and make brooches, hair accessories and more.
