DIY Skull Planters

DIY Skull Planters by CraftyChica.com

Put those succulents to work, or any plants for that matter! They’ll offer some personality by way of these Painted Skull Planters.

I purchased these plastic hollow skulls from the dollar store, then I simply cut off the tops using a hot knife – be careful!

My tip: Draw a line with chalk where you want to cut so you will keep it all nice and even.

You can also drill a hole at the bottom for drainage, then spray paint. Make sure to do that outside where there is a lot of ventilation. Ley dry completely.

Use potting soil to add the plants. Even if you don’t use live plants, you can use silk greenery, fake cacti or even paper flowers!

Take it a step further and paint detailed accents on the faces!

Love & light,
